Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal called the conditions under which he will resign. He told about it in interview to the Ukrainian service “bi-Bi-si”.
According to him, he will do it voluntarily, if the resignation will ask the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Parliament of the country or its people. The Prime Minister did not specify in what format should pass the people’s will on his resignation.
He added that the government has almost completed the reform of decentralization and moved on to the final stage, which concerns the election of local councils. Smigel hopes that the epidemiological situation will allow to hold in the autumn local elections and to upgrade power at this level.
On March 4, the Verkhovna Rada approved the new composition of the government. Its head was the former Deputy Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal. The government replaced ten Ministers. Your posts have kept four officials: Deputy Prime Minister for digital transformation Mikhail Fedorov, the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, Minister of infrastructure Vladislav Crickley and the Minister of justice Denis Malyuska. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky explained personnel changes lack of efficiency and effectiveness.
