In Berlin also said that fundamentally reject the extraterritorial sanctions of the USA and not going to bill Washington for slowing the progress of construction. In the opinion of the German government, the German policy in regard to the “Nord stream-2” is not a threat to NATO.
Recall, “Nord stream-2” includes two threads of a gas pipeline from Russia through the Baltic sea to Germany. Its total capacity will be 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The pipeline passes through the territorial waters or exclusive economic zones of Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. To date laid over 2,300 km of pipes of about 2460 km, that is, 94 per cent of its length.
