Belarus will not be plunged into chaos and civil war after the presidential election, said the incumbent leader of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko.
Lukashenko has made his choice
“Underestimate the situation, but to say that the country from tomorrow will be plunged into chaos or some kind of confrontation, opposition, or some kind of civil war, absolutely no reason”, quoted by BelTA.
Lukashenka also assured that the situation in the country during the presidential election wouldn’t get out of control.
“This is the main task of the current government, not only President. Therefore, you can have no doubt, to undertake certain people and so forth,” he added.
In June, Lukashenko said he would not allow Belarus “Maidan” before the election of the President.
