The promises of the Ukrainian authorities to respect the truce won’t come true. This lull is used to evade existing arrangements. This was stated by the former head of the security Council DND Alexander Khodakovsky.
In his opinion, to expect from Kiev truce is not necessary, the Ukrainian authorities as a result of all can opt out of existing agreements. Now they are just playing for time until the results of U.S. presidential elections, says FAN.
Khodakovsky believes that the West is tired of the attitude of the President’s team of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to implement the commitments in the Donbass. Therefore, the Ukrainian leadership is forced to follow the existing agreements.
