In Ukraine from 6 August starts "big sale prisons," reported on the website of the Ministry of justice.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the auction will be held on the territory of the Irpin penal center in the Kiev region, which will also be for sale.

"During the event, the Minister of justice will speak about the plans for further sales and areas of use obtained from the sale of prison facilities", – stated in the message.

It is noted that the last prisoners were transferred to another correctional centre in 2019.

Earlier, the Minister of justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska proposed as an experiment in some jail to highlight a camera with improved conditions, which will be available for the money. Next year it will be decided whether to fix this on a legislative level.
