With September in the US will be able to hold about 65 million of tests for coronavirus in a month. This statement on CNN was made by the assistant Secretary of health and human services Brett Giroir.
According to him, the American authorities strive to do more tests. “In August we will have available over 50 million tests, and in September – 65 million”, – TASS quoted Giroir. In addition, the US administration is trying to reduce the period of time necessary to get results.
Giroir noted that in the United States already conducted “nearly 54 million tests”, and is done daily for about 770 thousand. The expert stressed that this figure since the beginning of the pandemic has increased many times.
