India, Ireland, Mexico and Norway will become non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for the years 2021-2022. These are the results on June 17, a vote of the General Assembly.

Canada, which competed with Norway and Ireland, are unable to collect the required number of votes, TASS. The fifth member of the UN security Council from Africa will be determined in the second round, Kenya and Djibouti have not received the necessary support.

Note that in the security Council comprises five permanent members – Russia, Britain, China, USA and France and 10 non-permanent. Every year in the rotation change in five States.
