Tonight will be the first match of Danish top League after the authorities allowed to resume the holding of the games, suspended for two months because of a pandemic coronavirus.

As the threat to public health still remains, the stands of the stadium in Aarhus will be empty, as, indeed, other stadia before the end of this season. However, the organizers found a way to make visible the support of the fans of their favorite teams. The match between “Aarhus” and “Randers” the edges of the field have installed huge screens on which the fans using the software video Zoom can their chants, songs and clapping to cheer the players.

“In the world of sports this happens for the first time,” says one of the project coordinators Hojlund søren Carlsen. According to him, who is quoted by Spanish newspaper El Mundo, their idea has interested clubs from other countries of Europe, they call to know the details.

As it turned out, the stadium was installed a few screens with a total area of 120 square meters. They are arranged so to create the effect of the presence of fans. During the game they will be divided into three parts: for fans of the one and the other teams and to neutral fans. In order to “get” the game, you must reserve a seat, you can do absolutely for free.

According to Carlsen, already 10 thousand people have reserved seats for the game between the “Aarhus” and “Randers”. But he hopes the number will reach 12 thousand, to the end of the day there is still time. However, at the same time on the screens will only show 200 of them. During the meeting, the image will change, allowing all to “sit in” on the game to support the players to celebrate with them goals.

to Control the behavior of the fans are 50 moderators. They will make sure that fans did not insult any players or other spectators, behaved decently, did not undress in front of him. “The rules remain the same as during normal matches, only violators will not withdraw the guards, and to disconnect from broadcast”, – said Carlsen.

If the experiment proves successful, the club “Aarhus” will continue to use screens in their matches. “But this is only a temporary solution. In fact, we all want the fans back into the stands,” concluded Carlsen.
