the Chief sanitary doctor Viktor Lyashko said that the country will soon begin a campaign diagnostics enzyme immunoassay (ELISA). It will allow doctors to quickly detect the presence in the blood of patients coronavirus, as well as immunity to new diseases.
“Today tested methods of ELISA to determine the presence of immunity to coronavirus disease. And I think that soon there will be a mass testing of the population is for the presence of antibodies,” — said Lyashko.
Ukraine will become the fifth country in the world, that will run the ELISA test for diagnosis. Among the countries where it is already being tested, medical doctor called US and Germany. “It will show us, ill or not ill coronavirus disease, formed the immunity,” — said Lyashko.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine took the last place among European countries by the number of tests of the population to the coronavirus.
