In the center of Kiev decided to build the largest mosque, it will build with the assistance of Turkey, said Turkish Ambassador in Ukraine Ahmet Yagmur Holdere.
“Ukraine is home to a large number of Muslims, including the Crimean Tatars. (…) We have requested cooperation and assistance to Ukraine and its Muslim community to build a mosque in Kiev”, – said the Ambassador in an interview to “Interfax”.
The diplomat noted that the land issue has “largely solved” is a discussion of the design of the structure, and added that the building will be built in the city centre.
