UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres urged the Lebanese authorities to conduct a transparent investigation of the explosion in Beirut, which would be credible.
He said this during a briefing at the UN on the situation in Lebanon.
“it is Important to have held a credible and transparent investigation to determine the cause of the explosion and punishment of those responsible, as required by the Lebanese people”, — quotes its TASS.
