The head of the US Department of Commerce Wilbur Ross hospitalized, said on Saturday, broadcaster CNN referring to the representative office.
According to her, 82-year-old Ross was forced to seek medical care "because of the small problems (health – approx. TASS), unrelated to coronavirus". According to the broadcaster, the official "feels good" and soon is expected to be discharged from the hospital. No other details were given.
U.S. Department of Commerce Ross was appointed on February 2017.
