The British Embassy in Moscow received a note of protest to the Russian foreign Ministry, sent in connection with the placement on the building of the diplomatic mission of the LGBT flag. This is with reference to a diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.

Later, the head of the Duma Commission on investigation of facts of interference in the Affairs of the Russian Federation Vasily Piskarev said that the foreign Ministry has written to the embassies of the US, the UK and Canada, notes of protest, which noted the violation of national legislation of Russia.
