The Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) is involved in trying to establish the origin of a new type of coronavirus, but does not have sufficient information to make a definite conclusion. About that FBI Director Christopher ray said Wednesday on air of TV channel Fox News.
He was asked, does the FBI want to find the origin of the coronavirus.
"We are definitely involved in the establishment of origin, coronavirus," replied ray.
"At the moment I have nothing to add to what was publicly announced by [us] intelligence community. Information is still insufficient to understand how the virus appeared in Wuhan", – declared the Director of the FBI.
The US President Donald trump, answering questions of journalists at the White house on may 7, suggested that the new coronavirus could leave Wuhan Institute of Virology because of the incompetence of the staff. The official representative of the foreign Ministry of China Hua Chunying said on may 8 that the assumptions of the US President about the leak of a new coronavirus from the biology lab in Wuhan because of "stupid mistakes in China" contrary to fact.
