A doctor from new York Lorna Breen, who had treated patients with COVID-19 and had herself committed suicide. It is reported by The New York Times.

49-year-old Lorna Breen was the head of the emergency Department at the hospital of Allen and worked at the Medical center of Columbia University.

According to the father of the deceased Philip Breen, the daughter told how her colleagues fell asleep in the corridors after 18-hour shifts, and the patients died before they were able to get out of their ambulances.

“She was really in the trenches on the front line,” said Philip Breen of The New York Times.

Infected with coronavirus, Lorna Breen and a half weeks spent at home, and then went back to work, but are unable to finish a 12-hour shift. It again sent home.
