MOSCOW, 29 Sep – RIA Novosti. Russia’s armed forces will hold large-scale tabletop exercises in Central Asia, said at the Collegium of the defense Ministry, defense Minister, army General Sergei Shoigu.
According to Shoigu, in the Central Asian strategic direction, the command of the AOC continues to improve its management system and training troops to perform the tasks, as well as upgrading to the latest weapons and equipment.
it is Noted that this training is conducted in close cooperation with the armed forces of member States of the CSTO and the SCO. As stressed by the Minister of defence of the Russian Federation, compared with the 2019 year the number of joint training events increased by 14%.
