The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in his Telegram-channel demanded from law enforcement agencies to do everything to find the killers of the journalist Pavel Sheremet and called the crime “a disgrace for Ukraine.”
As reported by “the Rambler”, Pavel Sheremet was killed in 2016 in Ukraine in the result of explosion of a bomb in the car. The national police called the basic version of murder professional work of the journalist.
The President has reminded that today is the fourth anniversary of the murder Sheremet, noting that in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, “he stood for the values of democracy, rights and freedoms of man.”
“he could never take away freedom so the customers decided to take a life. His daring murder is a loss for all independent media and journalists.And yet this crime is a shame for Ukraine”, – said Zelensky.
According to the head of state, Ukrainian society is closely monitoring the investigation and is waiting for a “clear and compelling evidence”.
