MOSCOW, 29 April/ Radio Sputnik. Two strategic bomber Tu-160 the Russian space forces have carried out a planned eight-hour flight over neutral waters of the Baltic sea, reports RIA Novosti, citing the defense Ministry.
On the separate stages of the route Russian planes were accompanied by fighters of the air forces of Finland, Denmark, Poland, Sweden.
the Pilots of distant aircraft of the air and space forces make regular flights over the waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black sea and Baltic sea, the Pacific ocean.
As noted in the Russian defense Ministry, all flights are carried out “in strict accordance with international rules of using airspace.”
the Tu–160 is the fastest missile–bomber in the world from standing on the arms. He is able to reach speeds of up to 2200 kilometers per hour, which is an absolute record for aircraft of this class.
