In Minsk was held an action in support of alternative candidates for the presidency of Belarus. About it reports the local edition Tut.by.

On August 9, according to “the Rambler”, in Belarus scheduled the presidential elections. Until June 19, will last for the nomination of presidential candidates, July 14 end of registration, August 8 — election campaign, early voting will last from 4 to 8 August.

Yesterday in Minsk held a picket in support of alternative presidential candidates, that is, everyone except the incumbent Alexander Lukashenko. It was carried out collecting signatures for politicians Yuras Hubarevich, Nikolay Kozlov and Olga Kovalkova. Among the participants were seen a presidential candidate Valery Tsepkalo.

The event kicked off at 18:00 local time on the court at the Belarusian state Philharmonic society. The participants began to line up in the so-called chain of solidarity that was supposed to show how much in Belarus, caring people. To 22:30 the queue had reached the square Bogushevich. People began to disperse only after midnight around 1:00.
