“Trying to raise Russian children in difficult situation in the United States, from 15 States. Most teenagers have to make several changes. Would like to emphasize that the road to new York for a few of them are paid from the funds collected by our diplomats. Embassy staff are in constant contact with parents of minors. We do everything we can so that the children managed to arrive in time for the flight,” – said Antonov.
“unfortunately, tomorrow’s flight will be completely solved the problem of returning of children from the United States. We still have much work to ascertain the exact number of stuck here students, their names and contacts. We will continue to provide assistance to those in the departure to Russia. Parents themselves have to decide in the security of their children if they decide to leave them for the duration of the pandemic in the United States,” – said the Ambassador.
He reminded that the Embassy is working in coordination with the foreign Ministry and the Ministry of communications, noted the efficiency of Federal agencies. The Ambassador also thanked the public organization “Russian youth of America” who developed the schedule of meetings of teenagers in new York city airports and their delivery to the front Desk.
