The mayor of new York bill de Blasio said that the entrances to the city will be established checkpoints. Reported by the New York Post.
These items will be installed at major bridges, and tunnel crossings for monitoring compliance with quarantine Americans.
In case of violation of the two-week quarantine provided for visitors from other States to new York citizens, will be imposed a fine of $10 thousand.
At the moment the rules of the quarantine act for residents of 35 U.S. States, where there is a high risk of acquiring coronavirus infection.
Arriving at airports of new York are also required to fill out a travel questionnaire, otherwise they shall be fined in the amount of $2,000.
