the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko accepted the invitation to attend the Victory parade, which will take place in Moscow on June 24. This was announced by the Russian Ambassador in Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev.

It “confirms the unity of the approaches of the two brotherly countries in the assessment of the feat of the Soviet people, soldiers of the great Patriotic war”, – said a senior Russian diplomat, whose words are quoted by local news portals.

He also thanked the Belarusian leader for his willingness to take part in the celebrations. According to Mezentseva, this is another example of the “deep historic relations, the strategy of cooperation” between Moscow and Minsk, where “can’t stop no disputes of economic entities, any questions to each other.”
