Employees of the Russian Embassy promised before the end of Friday, July 31, to allow detainees in Belarus Russians. This was announced by the head of the diplomatic mission of Russia in Minsk Dmitry Mezentsev, the TV channel “Russia 1”.
“We were told that was guaranteed today by the end of the day it will be provided”, — quotes its words of RIA Novosti.
Mezentsev noted that the delay associated with the correspondence between SK, the interior Ministry and the foreign Ministry of Belarus.
Earlier it was reported that the head of the Investigative Committee of Belarus has signed the permission to visit the Russian Consul detainees.
29 July, BelTA news Agency reported the arrest in Belarus 33 Russians. Later it became known that the detainees are suspected of preparing mass riots.
