Sitting in Tripoli, the national consensus government (NTC) of Libya handed over the two Turkish detainees in 2019 the Russians – employees of Fund of protection of national values (FSNC) Maxim Shugaley and Samira Hassan Ali Safina. About it reports on Sunday television channel Al-Hadath, citing its own sources.

According to them, transferred to the Turkish side, the Russians arrived in Istanbul on Saturday. No other details of the channel has not resulted.

Shugaley and Swapan was arrested in may 2019 in Libya. Earlier the state office of public Prosecutor of the authorities in Tripoli accused the Russians on a range of issues, including meddling in the internal Affairs and elections of Libya, run by the country’s public employment without the permission of the local authorities and security agencies. In addition, the state office of public Prosecutor believed that the Russians went to places they could not visit.

On July 18 the spread comments of the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova pointed out that Russia had received written assurances from the NTC that the question of their release will be resolved soon.
