“We have prepared a procedure for extending the issuance of an electronic sick leave to employees over age 65 in those regions where restrictions remain associated with coronavirus infection,” – said the Minister of labour and social protection of Russia Anton Kotkov during the RSPP social forum “Effective anti-crisis strategy of the state and business: the social aspect”.
Such sick leave began to issue from 1 April for staying on the isolation of working citizens over the age of 65 years. The money to pay for them are sent directly from the social insurance Fund.
“This has allowed our citizens who are most at risk, not to interrupt, even for a short time, the mode of isolation and to follow all the recommendations, announced by the CPS,” said Katkov.
