Russia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 14,740 over the past day to 22,121,725, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Thursday.A day earlier, 13,436 daily cases were recorded.As many as 1,516 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, down 2.1% from a day earlier. The number of hospitalized patients decreased in 44 regions, while in 32 regions the figure increased. The situation remained unchanged in nine regions. A day earlier, 1,548 people were rushed to hospitals.Moscow’s COVID-19 cases surged by 3,782 over the past day versus 3,862 cases a day earlier, reaching 3,390,893, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. St. Petersburg’s COVID-19 cases increased by 1,308 over the past day versus 1,271 a day earlier, reaching 1,862,677.Russia’s COVID-19 recoveries rose by 11,140 over the past day, reaching 21,472,809, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Thursday.A day earlier some 12,071 patients recovered.Russia’s COVID-19 death toll rose by 37 over the past day, reaching 395,689, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Thursday.A day earlier 36 COVID-19 deaths were registered.
