President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is a pawn in someone else’s game. So in a conversation with URA.Producer Iosif Prigozhin commented on getting into the Ukrainian sanctions list.

Earlier, a decree was published on the website of the President of Ukraine, according to which sanctions were imposed against Russian artists. Among those listed are singers Lolita Milyavskaya, Irina Allegrova, comedian Evgeny Petrosyan, singers Philip Kirkorov, Dmitry Bilan, as well as director Nikita Mikhalkov. All financial transactions with artists will be stopped, all licenses will be canceled, copyright transfer will be banned and assets in Ukraine will be blocked. The sanctions will be in effect for 10 years.

“Everyone praises Zelensky. They say that he is an incredibly cool dude, but we know him during his creative career. He’s a pawn in someone else’s game. He is trying to say that he is as big as Vladimir Putin. But people are dying. Stop taking weapons in the West,” Joseph Prigozhin said.

The producer recalled that he has Ukrainian roots.

“My grandfather was born in Sumy region. I also have Ukrainian roots. And my grandmother is buried in Babi Yar. How does Zelensky, being a man of Jewish nationality, play with nationalists against his own people and the peoples of Russia? He’s playing someone else’s violin. Well, he dragged me into the lists. Am I influencing something? If I could influence, I would try to do it, but people are dying today,” he stressed.

“There is no conscience. This is a politician who can speak the language of someone else’s weapon. These are cowardly people who hid behind the backs of big players who benefit from it. It is necessary to be friends with neighbors,” Prigozhin concluded.
