MOSCOW, April 16/ Radio Sputnik. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President XI Jinping in a telephone conversation exchanged views on the situation of the pandemic coronavirus, according to the Kremlin website.
the Sides noted that mutual support in the fight against this global threat is another strong indication of the special nature of Russian-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership.
“Confirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in this area, including through exchange of experts, supply of medical equipment, medicines and means of protection”, – stated in the message.
From the Russian side gave a high assessment of consistent and effective action by the Chinese partners, which allowed to stabilize the epidemiological situation in the country.
“Stressed the counter-productivity of attempts to blame China delayed informing the world community about the emergence of dangerous infections,” – stated in the message.
Putin and XI Jinping noted the positive development of bilateral relations in General, including the continued growth of trade.
In the conversation the parties discussed topical international issues.
