The Cabinet of Ministers has determined the General principles of granting access to a minimum set of functions of the metering system of electrical energy. The corresponding decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 19, 2020 No. 890 becomes effective July 1.
The list of functions of electricity metering devices that can be attached to a smart metering system, and requirements to them, procedure of connection of metering devices of electric energy to the smart accounting system and provide access to its functions.
In addition, the established requirements:
– for the protection of the information posted in the accounting system from unauthorized access during its collection, transfer and storage
– to order the exchange of information in the framework of smart metering, its formats and exchange protocols.
