List of best universities is headed by MSU. University. Second place at the MIFI, the third – at MIPT. The top 10 also hit the Higher school of Economics, Novosibirsk state University, Saint Petersburg state University, Tomsk state University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, MISIS, Kazan Federal University.
Interestingly, in the view of experts includes not only state universities: rating 7 non-state universities.
Universities were evaluated on six parameters: educational activities, scientific research, social environment, international cooperation, the brand, innovation and technological entrepreneurship. All information from questionnaires filled by representatives of universities as well as from public sources, including the websites of universities and the Ministry of education, information-analytical system SPARK and SCAN.
