The number of victims of coronavirus in Kazakhstan increased by 208 over the past week, the total number of deaths as a result of infection COVID-19 reached 793, reported Tuesday the Ministry of health of the Republic.
As of 20 July in Kazakhstan was recorded 585 deaths from coronavirus infection. The Ministry of health is practicing a weekly update of statistics on deaths from COVID-19.
"Was 208 deaths from coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan from 20 to 26 July… total for the Republic of Kazakhstan was 793 deaths", – stated in the message in the Telegram channel, Ministry of health.
The greatest number of deaths as a result of infection by the coronavirus in the reporting period was registered in Karaganda oblast and Almaty – 56 and 38 cases, respectively.
The total number of coronavirus infections in Kazakhstan for more than 84 thousand, recovered more than 54 thousand people.
