As a result of complications from coronavirus infection died on 3 may, cleric Khotkovo Pokrovsky Stavropigialny women’s monastery Archpriest Eugene Korchukov and clergyman of the Church of St. Zosima and Savvaty of Solovki in Sochi swaminadhan Andrey Molchanov. It is reported by the working group under the Patriarch.
Korchukov were on 66-m to year of life. He served as a priest in the Russian Orthodox Church for 28 years, 22 of them as a staff priest of the monastery.
Molchanov died at the age of 54 years.
Father Andrew was hospitalized in late April with pneumonia. Due to problems with his breathing hooked up to a ventilator.
In recent days his condition was serious, and on may 3 he died, without regaining consciousness.
