the Project is held in isolation for older people has long gone beyond the delivery of commodities. The Petersburg volunteers, encouraged by the fact, as it turns out, is easy and pleasant to do good deeds for their own money to buy wards food and other things, solved the economic issues that the elderly found it difficult to cope on their own.

Dmitry Glebov decided to go ahead and founded the project “the hardy boys 2.0”. Himself a professional Builder, he intends to help lonely pensioners, which is able to do to improve their living conditions.

I’ve been thinking about something like that. A couple of years ago helped the homeless: waking up early in the morning, preparing a hot meal, then my wife went and fed those who have no money. When I heard about the project #Myvesta, immediately joined the ranks of the volunteers. And there, bringing the old food and medicine, and saw how many of them are lonely and desperately in need of assistance. Some are really below the poverty line, not enough money even for food. About how to make the apartment at least a minimal repair, and the question, – says Dmitry. – Someone broke the bed, someone has a washing machine, a leaky faucet, someone is needed, it would seem, the least is to visit the great outdoors, but you need a wheelchair, and money to buy it no… They did not even ask for help, but of course it alone can not cope. Once at a meeting with volunteers from our Primorsky district I shared my thoughts with the guys. Those have supported me. Thus was born the project “the hardy boys 2.0”. The point is to help the elderly, veterans, the disabled and families in difficult life situations.

the First ward “timurovtsev” – Galina Alekseevna, the health care provider retired. Now her apartment is being renovated.

It’s lonely, recently underwent spinal surgery, with great difficulty moving. Very poor. The apartment is in terrible condition. Wallpaper hung in tatters, all the taps are leaking, the washing machine is broken – continues to Dmitry. – Now we are it repair. Was ready to move grandma to another place for a while, but she flatly refused. And her fears can be understood: it suddenly came a strange young people do everything for free – it is suspicious… Ask her at the time not to leave the room so as not to contact with outsiders. We started with the bathrooms – a toilet and a bathroom should be tidy first. Already all dismantled and cleaned, today ordered the new tile. Then do the kitchen, replace and balcony and window units.

All work Dmitry with friends are funded from their own wallets, and rely on the fact that the project “young volunteers 2.0” will grow new activists.

– Just all came together. Owned by me a little withrotellina company with the start of a pandemic temporarily out of work. So we can free up time for volunteering, in which took shape the idea of “do-gooders”. And then suddenly to me have paid for the old, long the project. There was a certain amount of money. And I decided that this sign – smiles Dmitry. – What happens when the money runs out? So I’m not one of us will become more and more, I’m sure. We launched the idea of a good thing in the universe – the impact may not be. And, in the end, not a single money – we have hand, tools and skills.

Dmitry everything will work out. His idea picked up by many good people – sure volunteer Anastasia Kindzerskaya. – He’s doing really important work. Working in project #Myvote, I met lonely old man, living in deplorable conditions. Until we are able to help them, should do it. The name Dmitry has come up with the right – to the young volunteers, older people trust.
