According to the former chief sanitary doctor of Russia, academician of RAS Gennady Onishchenko, the country will not be a second wave of coronavirus as COVID-19 is not as mobile virus so quickly to overcome population immunity.

“About a new epidemic or pandemic the development of coronavirus say, I think this will not happen. Coronavirus is not so mobile in terms of a breakthrough in population immunity,” he explained on the air of “Echo of Moscow”.

Onishchenko added that the total vaccination of citizens against the coronavirus is not needed, but better from the flu to get vaccinated.
