The ashes of Sergei Khrushchev is expected to be buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in Moscow, near the grave of his father, the first Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Nikita Khrushchev, told RIA Novosti the widow of the deceased Valentina Golenko.

Sergei Khrushchev died on June 18, in the United States, where he lived and worked since 1991.

"the Funeral will be at Novodevichy in Moscow, next to his father tentatively in October, if you start to put the planes. There will be a Wake, all that is necessary. Cremation will be here," said Golenko.

According to her, Sergei Khrushchev in his will requested his burial next to his father.

Speaking about the reason for leaving a spouse, she noted that Sergei Khrushchev died of old age.

Sergei Khrushchev was born in 1935 from the marriage with the second wife of Nikita Khrushchev, Nina Kukharchuk. In 1958-1968, he worked in the OKB of V. N.
