About three thousand Russian actors, Directors and other theatre-goers urged the Minister of culture Olga Lyubimov to speak out in defense of Director Kirill Serebrennikov and other defendants in the case, “the Seventh Studio”, which for several years trying to convict in the appropriation allocated to the theater project million roubles from the budget.

Lyubimov in January 2020 has replaced on a post of Minister Vladimir Medinsky.
