On excitation of criminal case against Infantino became known on July 30. It was also reported that proceedings were instituted against the chief Prosecutor of the Upper Valais Rinaldo Arnold. Infantino, and Arnold were allegedly members of a secret meetings with the attorney General of Switzerland.
Infantino was elected FIFA President in February 2016. In June of 2019 he was re-elected for a second term.
