Actor Mikhail Yefremov, who is under house arrest in the case of a fatal accident in downtown Moscow, watching on TV, only the TV channel “Culture” and sports. This was told by his lawyer Elman Pashayev, the TV channel “Russia 1”, RIA Novosti reported.
“I asked him not to watch TV. He only watches the sports channel, and channel "Culture",” said the lawyer.

Ephraim was charged on the case about the accident in the center of Moscow as regards 4 articles 264 of the criminal code (“Violation of traffic rules, entailed on imprudence death of the person”). The maximum penalty is 12 years imprisonment.
The accident occurred on 8 June. Machine of Ephraim, who was in an alcohol intoxication, has left on an oncoming lane and crashed into a van whose driver, Sergey Zakharov, died in the hospital due to blood loss. The artist himself was not injured, he was sent under house arrest until August 9.
