Heavy rains and strong winds are predicted in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Tomsk, Tyumen, Amur regions and Yakutia on Monday, reported TASS on Sunday, the scientific Director of the hydrometeorological center of Russia Roman Vilfand.

"Very serious threat phenomena are predicted in the Urals. In the Central Urals, in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan areas, very heavy rain, thunderstorm, large hail, a wind of 25-27 m/s. It’s already tomorrow, on Monday," he said.

"a Similar situation in the Tyumen and Tomsk regions. There is also very strong rain, thunderstorm, wind up to 22 m/ s. Fragments of heavy rain and strengthening is also projected in Yakutia", – said the meteorologist.
