People’s artist of the RSFSR Valentin Gaft, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, began to experience difficulties with speech, according to “the Source”. The actor’s wife says that his condition is stable.
The first signs of Parkinson’s disease, as reported by “the Rambler”, was seen in Gaft in 2002 after the suicide of her daughter. The artist was very upset by the death of a loved one. In a media interview he repeatedly said that the blame in front of the deceased.
In 2018 after the actor was hit by the death of colleagues in “Contemporary” Nina Doroshina. His condition rapidly deteriorated. Gaft ceased to appear in the theater than disturbed fans.
In 2019, it became known that the popular actor had a stroke. After a long rehabilitation he was moved home, where he is to this day.
