The frontman of the group “Leningrad” Sergey Shnurov has denied the information about his nomination for elections to the state Duma in 2021, previously announced by the leader of the Party of growth Boris Titov at a meeting with voters of Chelyabinsk. The words of the musician on Thursday, 16 July, reports RTVI.
“Apparently, Boris Titov came to the place that is Chelyabinsk, where the people due to the difficult environmental conditions begin to see the future,” said Cords.
7 July it became known that the Cords became co-Chairman of the Party of growth. He entered into political Union at the end of February.
In June, the musician was appointed General producer of TV channel RTVI, after which he announced plans to unite Russians around the world.
