A year after she lost her unborn son, is Cecilie Hother now become a mother to a little boy.

she writes on Instagram to a picture from the hospital where she and the man Thomas Honoré sitting with the little kid in the arms.

‘Normally I can put into words many of the feelings I have. But this is so overwhelming! The love is so great. Our little Spunk is sound and healthy, and absolutely perfect!!’ writes the proud mother on Instagram.

‘I am so relieved and happy and totally grateful!! ….and quite tired!’

Cecilie Hother has good reason to rejoice over something that should be so basic, like the little boy is healthy and doing well.

Already a year ago she would have been mother to a son. But Karl she lost six months into the pregnancy.

And as she told in a great interview with B. T. shortly before christmas, she had to suddenly learn how to navigate between fear and anxiety, happiness and sadness, laughter and crying.

“because it is, as it is not fair to the unprocessed sadness to have joy. And at the same time, not daring to pleasure me enough, because I also have the fear that something goes wrong,” she said in the interview.

Despite the sorrow, as Karl’s two small footprints tattooed on her wrist will always remind her of, there has also been lots of smiles this past year.

Cecilie Hother and Thomas Honoré revealed at the end of 2019, that they secretly had been married the year before at a private ceremony.

But during their holiday in years renewed their wedding vows.

‘I can still feel the small grains of sand between your toes and the joy bubble on the cape with spunken in the stomach. And a glædeståre, as quiet, but very decisively, trickling out of the corner of his eye. And to the sound of the waves, the priest’s words and ‘What a Wonderful World’ repeated Thomas and I our marriage vows from 2018,’ she wrote next to a picture of the pair in relaxed bryllupstøj on a sunlit sandy beach.

the Pair already have a daughter, Ellinor from 2016.
