In the next three days, dangerous ultraviolet the radiation is projected in some regions of Russia. This was reported by the scientific Director of the hydrometeorological center Roman Vilfand.
He said that in the Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh areas, and also in Transbaikalia and Primorye index radiation will reach seven units, and in Sochi, Adygea, southern Krasnodar and Stavropol regions – eight-nine. Vilfand urged not to stay long in the sun to avoid sunstroke and skin burns. According to him, such indices lesions appear on the skin very quickly, TASS.
the Standard ultraviolet index was developed by the world health organization, UN environment programme and the world meteorological organization. For its characteristics there is a scale from 1 to 12 units: the higher the index, the more can be harmful to the skin and eyes.
