69 thousand Russian citizens voted early on the amendments to the Constitution. As reported TASS, said the Chairman of the Central election Commission (CEC) of Russia Ella Pamfilova.

In January, as reported by “the Rambler”, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin proposed to make the Constitution a number of changes.

A nationwide vote on amendments will take place on 1 July, but will be possible to vote and in the period from June 25.

In addition, from June 10 early voting is conducted at selected sites in inaccessible and remote locations in 38 regions of Russia and for marine sites.

Today, during the CEC meeting Pamfilova said that, according to the June 22, approximately 69 million Russians voted early: 60,5 thousand people in hard-to-reach or remote areas, about seven thousand people on the ships, about two thousand people abroad.
