Holidays in Turkey will be available again for Russians, as soon as the situation with the pandemic coronavirus stabiliziruemost. This was announced by the Director of the fourth European Department of the MFA of Russia Yuri Philipson, commenting on prospects for the resumption of regular flights between Russia and Turkey.

According to him, currently the Russian relevant departments are studying the proposal of Ankara to resume regular flights. The Turkish side was ready for this since July 15, taking into account the importance of the tourism sector for the country.

“With a certain optimism we observe a positive trend in the fight against the pandemic coronavirus in our country and in Turkey,” said Philipson in an interview with RIA “Novosti”.

If the situation stabiliziruemost will change the mode of entry and departure from Russia, said the representative of the foreign Ministry. He noted that the Russians are allowed to travel abroad to visit relatives living there who need care, and for treatment, work and study.

Earlier it was reported that according to the poll 76% of Russians would like to go on holiday to Turkey this fall, and 73% of respondents expressed the hope that by this time, open borders and other countries.
