Executive Secretary of the organizing Committee on preparation to celebration of 75-anniversary of the Victory, presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov has asked the government not to invite to the celebration of people older than 65 years, reports “Interfax”. The text of the letter published in the telegram channel, the chief editor of “Echo of Moscow” Alexei Venediktov.

the appeal noted that such a request is decided to allocate in connection with the threat to the life and health of citizens due to the spread of coronavirus .

Appeal dated March 27 and addressed to the head of the government Dmitry Grigorenko.

In the presidential administration confirmed the fact of sending such appeals to the government because of the situation with coronavirus.

defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov earlier denied that there are plans to transfer Victory parade or change its format in connection with the pandemic.
