The Church of Elijah the Prophet in Ilyinka street will be renovated in Moscow. In the capital declared competition on performance of repair work.

The head of the city Department for competition policy Ivan Shcherbakov reported that applications for participation are accepted until August 28. The maximum contract price is 354,9 million rubles.

"the Winner will be determined in the course of auction in electronic form. Customer treatments stands State institution of Moscow city "Mosrestavratsiya", – said Shcherbakov.

The winner of the contest will have to restore the facade and roof. In addition, the gallery and bell tower will be re-created brick walls. The interiors of the Church will restore to original appearance, and the cast-iron railing of the Grand staircase rekonstruiruet.

The Deputy mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations Vladimir Yefimov said that the work will be completed in 2022. The companies that will apply for the restoration of the Church of Elijah the Prophet, will be subject to special requirements. So, in the competition can participate only those companies that already had a proven track record of restoration.

The head of the Moscow Department of cultural heritage, Alexei Yemelyanov said that the restoration will take place strictly according to the agreed project and specialists with confirmed skills.

"Such an approach is necessary in order to preserve their image and appearance of the building, which forms the historic character of our city. All work will be in control of the specialists of the Department of cultural heritage", – said Emelyanov.

The restoration of the Church of Ilya the Prophet will be held under subprogramme "the State protection, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage" program "Culture of Moscow".

Previously, it was announced restoration of a unique club / dining room on Gogol Boulevard. The building was built at the turn of 1920-1930-ies and is considered a cultural heritage site of regional significance. According to the architects, the house was to free residents from everyday hardships. The design was carried out with a focus on the ideals of a socialist society.
