People’s artist of the RSFSR circus rider Tamerlan Nugzarov died Sunday at the age of 77 years, reported on the official website of the head of state.

"the Leadership of the trade Union Committee of the Russian state circus company deeply regrets to announce that on 78-m to year of life has died the winner of the State prize of the Russian Federation, people’s artist of Russia Tamerlan Nugzarov", – stated in the message.

Tamerlan Nugzarov was born on 1 June 1942 at Ordzhonikidze. Nugzarov circus career began when he was 15 years old. For the play "Gorsky legend" the artist received the State prize of the Russian Federation.

During his career of Nugzarov also collected the most prestigious international awards. Prince albert of Monaco presented him with "the Golden clown" in Monte Carlo, the legendary actress Gina Lollobrigida "Platinum star" in Italian Verona, the Hollywood star kirk Douglas – the circus "Oscar" in Los Angeles. Together with his team Tamerlan Nugzarov visited 25 countries.
