Auction planned: After the final whistle of the relegation second leg, Felix Magath (68) secures Davie Selke’s jersey. As the coach now tells in an interview with “Bild”, he will have the jersey auctioned off. The proceeds will be used to help the people of Ukraine.
Long-standing commitment: Felix Magath has been active in the aid organization “Natureheart Foundation” for many years. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees there. The organization supports children worldwide in their development. Ukraine is currently the focus.
League-wide relief efforts: The auction is not the first aid for Ukraine. Since the outbreak of war three months ago, many associations have supported refugees. Among others, Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach organized benefit matches against Ukrainian teams.
