Adviser to the head of “Roscosmos”, the former journalist Ivan Safronov was transferred to a normal cell of the SIZO “Lefortovo” after unconfirmed COVID-19. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the member of the Public oversight Commission (POC) Marina Litvinovich.

According to her, Safronov is now in a cell with suspects of terrorism and extremism. She said that it is a foreign citizen, and relations between them are smooth.

About the test results Safronova July 31, said the Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova. He noted former journalist “feels right, or already moved, or must be transferred from a single quarantine chamber in ordinary.”

Safronov, who is in jail “Lefortovo”, was isolated with suspected coronavirus on July 27.

Safronov was detained on July 7 and arrested for two months. The FSB claim that he was recruited in 2012 by the Czech secret service, on the instructions of which he allegedly gave it to the representative in 2017 information constituting a state secret. Safronov pleaded not guilty.
